The thirty years’ war – and today?

Event in Berlin on 15th September 2022 to present the learning platform by the colleagues of the consortium.

Two invited guest speakers, Dr. Frauke Adrians and Reiner Braun, who were engaged with different perspectives then discussed about the Thirty Years’ War 1618-1648. Why did the wars last that long? What made peace negotiations possible? How was diplomacy in Europe organised in that time? And what hinders to make peace in Europe and the world today? Do we need a new world and/or European peace order? If so, what should be its characteristics?

Fish Bowl Discussion on these and many more questions and an active participation by the audience.
